Ever since we’ve (my friends and myself) been developing our space mmorts because of the lack of current space/scifi mmo’s, I’ve constantly been wondering how popular it will be. I just found this article on google (while searching for wordpress scifi themes LOL) and it’s very interesting to a scifi junkie like myself, although I disagree with some of the opinions presented. The public’s view on what exactly fantasy and scifi are is surprisingly twisted (which I already knew). I could ramble on with my opinions of the article and comments, but I won’t. In a sentence, I don’t think the author of the site “analyzed” scifi/fantasy mmo’s right, and I think that there MUST be a little of what is called “fantasy” in the article in science fiction just because that’s how it works in the real world (religion is always a part of peoples’ lives, for example, yet the commenters say that the Ori religion that came later in the Stargate SG1 series makes Stargate have a “fantasy” quality, which I’d have to disagree on).

Anyway, I encourage everyone to at least glance through it (it’s a long article with a lot of comments).
